Queensbury (German pop band) x Secret Wars x Reebok

This is a weird but funny post.. Queensbury the pop band (German version of Girls Aloud), used the Secret Wars x Reebok ice cream van in their new video.

Its hard to see as the editing is so quick but Teck 1, Alfa, Jimi Crayon and Mr K all collaborated and painted the van back in July @ BBB.

Apparently this is all over German TV etc.

Quarter Final - Set 2 @ The Secret Warehouse

This was the night everyone had been waiting for....The big guns of the competition going head to head in the Q finals - Wen (defending champion) vs. Hicks!
To start the night off we had two new artists in Reeps 1 (The human beatboxer) going up against Chent who flew all the way back from Paris to compete.

It all kicked off around 10pm, giving people a couple of hours to rinse the bar dry! Vocal chords were strong and loud and the crowd seemed passionate in their opinions...

Jimi Crayon was in fine form on the mic - making his voice heard when it mattered most...

After a gruelling and intense 90 mins the first battle was up (Reeps vs. Chent) - Reeps scrapped through with both votes from the judges.

Next up was the vote for the the BIG one, Hicks had once again dazzled people with his brush skills and Wen did what he does best, master pieces!

Another tight call but "there can only be one" as Highlander would say, and that was girls favourite Mr Hicks! Congratulations to both for putting on an amazing show for all who came down.

BOTH SEMI FINALS WILL BE HELD AT THE SAME WAREHOUSE ON JAN 31ST

Quarter Final - Set 1 @ The Secret Warehouse

Hosted at the Secret Warehouse, Monorex threw down another banger of a night in the dirty East end...

The new space is a perfect home for Secret Wars and it looks like this will stay the chosen venue for the rest of series 3.

Big up to all those that came along and witnessed two close showdowns - And a huge sorry for all the people that got lost and could not find the location...Please note we will be making this a lot clearer for the gig in two weeks time (Dec 13th).

MR K VS STIKA
This was the first to kick off - both went for the jugular and fought like braveheart until the very last second. Each artist had perfected their battle tactics with disses saved until the end...If you knew anything about these guys and their artwork, you would have laughed hard at some of these references painted.

RESULTS
JUDGE 1 - MR K
CROWD - STIKA
JUDGE 2 - MR K

TIZER VS DRUNK PARK
An exciting line up as both had never met before - two artists with two completely different design ideologies..Tizer is a graff legend and Drunk Park is a vector magician!

Over the 90 mins the wall evolved into a tonal war - Tizer chose to use the mini roller and Drunk Park went with the original Secret Wars marker!

RESULTS
JUDGE 1 - DRUNK PARK
CROWD - DRUNK PARK
JUDGE 2 - DRUNK PARK

Thanks to all the people that actually found the venue! And lent their vocal support...

See you at the next one - December 13th @ the same location!
